The person who commissioned it, at the end of a conversation in which they explained to me why they needed in their home the peace of mind my pieces evoked for them, asked me: “By the way, where does the light come in?” It struck me as a tender and symbolic question, one that merged part of the composition of the work with a reflection inviting us to look at those small things in our lives which, however simple, are where the light truly comes in… And without hesitation, that was the title of the work, so that the work itself would remind them of it every day.
